Hello readers (new, loyal & indifferent)... this was the first year in about 8 or 9 years that I did not spend Thanksgiving with my nuclear family... furthermore it was my first Thanksgiving away from New York... I left bright & early Wednesday morning... well let me retract the bright part, it was pitch black when I left out at 5:30am to head to the airport. It's really interesting to see so many people traveling right before a holiday... scurrying to or from.
